The 12th International Conference on Coherent Multidimensional Spectroscopy (CMDS2026)
22nd – 26th June 2026, Singapore
CMDS is a major international forum to discuss the latest results in multidimensional optical spectroscopy. Conference topics will include the developments & applications, in theory and experiment, of multidimensional optical spectroscopy and related nonlinear optical techniques, to chemistry, biology, physics and materials science.
The CMDS series is organized biennially and CMDS 2026 is the twelfth in the series. CMDS was inaugurated in 2002 in Seoul, Korea and has since been held at Madison, USA (2004), Rigi-Kulm, Switzerland (2006), Kyoto, Japan (2008), Minneapolis, USA (2010), Berlin, Germany (2012), Eugene, USA (2014), Groningen, Netherlands (2016), Seoul, Korea (2018), Austin, USA (2022) and York, UK (2024).
CMDS 2026 will be held at the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, from 22nd-26th June 2026.
The conference will begin on 22nd June with an Early Career Symposium (ECS) followed by the CMDS 2026 main program from 23rd-26th June.
CMDS 2026 will feature about 12 invited talks, 40 contributed talks, and multiple poster sessions. The ECS will feature an additional 12 early career talks.
The inaugural CMDS Innovation Award and the CMDS Achievement Award will also be presented at CMDS 2026. Please check out the nomination procedures and other details here.
CMDS 2026 will serve as a platform to renew friendships, forge new collaborations among researchers, and to welcome young and aspiring scientists venturing into the multi-dimensional optical spectroscopy arena.
Singapore is a city-state just north of the equator. Lush with greenery, and diverse in culture, Singapore has historically been a crossroad of East and West. We look forward to seeing you in our garden city!
